Sometimes you have to believe you're stronger and smarter than you think! Kevin Greene, whose nickname is Kermit (courtesy of his teasing brothers) has red hair and is small, almost lost in his busy family, when two tiny beings from outer space convince him to return to their kingdom to help save it from the Devastators, who wish to destroy their planet. On Celabar, Kevin loves being a little bit bigger than the others and a hero to boot! But he must come up with a plan to get rid of a giant bird the Devastators are using to control their people and to gain control of the gold lying beneath Celabar. Another children's book by J.S. Keim, filled with fantasy, fun, and danger.
J. S. (Judith) Keim is a USA Today Best-Selling Author of adult stories. She enjoyed her childhood and young-adult years in Elmira, New York, and now makes her home in Boise, Idaho, with her husband and their Dachshund, Wally, and other members of their family. While she was growing up, books were always present - being read, ready to go back to the library, or about to be discovered. Information from the books was shared in conversation, giving everyone in the family a thirst for sharing ideas. Perhaps that is why she was drawn to the idea of writing stories early on. As J. S. Keim, she writes middle-grade fantasy books for children. She particularly loves to write novels about characters who have interesting, fun, and exciting experiences with creatures both real and fantastical, and who learn to see the world in a different way.
