Insatiable curiosity and a thirst for knowledge led the author to careers as an RN at the age of 20, an award-winning real estate broker in her 30's,and an artist and art teacher in her 40's. She is the wife of a science teacher, mom to an ER doctor and a home-school educator, and has been host to an ever-changing menagerie of dogs, birds, rabbits, chickens, a horse and donkey, and 25 tanks of angelfish.
