Some secrets don’t stay buried—especially when the shadows have names. When respected resident physicians end up dead and vanishing clues leave a city gripped by fear, seasoned detective Dallas Everhart and his sharp-witted partner Marie Lawson must untangle a twisted web of manipulation, obsession, and control. But what begins as a murder investigation soon reveals a deeper, more personal vendetta—a long-buried grudge held by a dark figure, a man who uses influence and reputation like weapons. As Dallas gets closer to the truth, the dark figure’s web tightens—dragging innocent lives into his path. But when one marionette refuses to play the puppeteer’s game any longer, everything explodes. A once powerful family begins to unravel. And once again, Dallas is left holding the cost of another man’s sins. Killer App is a gripping mystery-thriller about manipulation, the hunger for validation, and how far some will go to claim power in the shadows.
