Francis Kilvert (Author) Robert Francis Kilvert was a Victorian country clergyman. He was born at Hardenhuish, or Harnish, near Chippenham in Wiltshire, on the 3rd December, 1840, the second child of the Rev. Robert Kilvert, and of Thermuthis.
