The mechanistic analysis of the proposed reaction and its implication for studying transition metal catalyzed bromamine-T oxidation. The features of the present study viz. Mechanistic insight of activation of bromamine-T by transition metal complex and the reaction illustrates a new scale for catalysis by Rh(III). Due to simplicity of our catalytic system, bromamine -T is performed with reactive Rh(III) complex. The main feature of the present study was that bromamine-T is needed for direct catalytic turn over.
