Gary Borgstede currently resides with his wife and children in Mandeville, Louisiana. Gary completed his high school education graduating in the top five percent. He then attended Louisiana State University earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 1988. After joining the workforce as a Territory Sales Representative for McCormick & Co., Inc. he attended Southeastern Louisiana University earning an MBA in 1991. Gary began his career in financial management with Shell Offshore, Inc. as an entry-level accountant. After two years, he decided to pursue a career in health care financial management, joining Ochsner Clinic in 1993. During his 16 years at Ochsner, Gary became well-respected and affectionately known as chief "Make It Happen," causing ordinary people to become extraordinary in both their professional and personal lives.Additionally, Gary founded The Make It Happen Learning Institute to educate and inspire leaders in corporate America to develop their God-given leadership potential and create cultures of empowerment in the workplace.
