The discography of Kings of Leon, an American rock band, consists of four studio albums, three extended plays, fourteen singles and ten music videos. Kings of Leon was formed in 1999 in Nashville, Tennessee by brothers Nathan Followill (drums, percussion, vocals), Caleb Followill (vocals, rhythm guitar), Jared Followill (bass guitar, vocals) and their cousin Matthew Followill (lead guitar, vocals). The band released their debut EP, Holy Roller Novocaine, followed by What I Saw, in 2003. Their debut studio album, Youth and Young Manhood, was released later in 2003, peaking at number one on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and number three on the UK Albums Chart. The album has since been certified gold in the UK and three times platinum in Australia. In 2004, Kings of Leon released their second album, Aha Shake Heartbreak. The album peaked at number 55 on the Billboard 200 and was their second album in a row to peak at number three on the UK Albums Chart. It was certified two times platinum in Ireland, as well as platinum in Australia and the UK.
