Boyd Clack is an actor, writer, and singer/songwriter from Tonyrefail in the south Wales Valleys. He is perhaps best known as the creator, writer, and leading actor of the many series of classic BBC sitcom's Bafta-winning Satellite City and High Hopes. He has also had an extensive career on stage, film, and TV including National Theatres (Canada, England, Wales); Twin Town, Under Milk Wood (film) and recently Keeping Faith (TV). Boyd is Patron of the New Horizons - Mental Health charity.
