Autorenporträt
Octavia-Luciana Madge is an associate professor of Information and Communication Sciences and a doctoral supervisor at the University of Bucharest, Romania. She teaches Knowledge Management (KM) and Quality Management in Information Services. Her Ph.D. research examined KM in libraries and information services. She introduced the concept of knowledge management to the Library and Information Science field in Romania in the early 2000s, teaching the first KM course in the country and conducting applied research on its implementation. She is a member of the IFLA Knowledge Management Section. Elena Popescu is a librarian at the Simion Stoilow Institute of Mathematics of the Romanian Academy, Romania. She holds an MA in Library and Information Science and a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences from the University of Bucharest, where her research focused on Quality Management in info-documentary structures.
