Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Alfred Wagenhofer ist Vorstand des Instituts für Unternehmensrechnung und Controlling sowie Leiter des Center for Accounting Research der Universität Graz, Vizepräsident des Austrian Financial Reporting Advisory Committee (AFRAC) und Leiter von dessen Arbeitsgruppe Internationale Finanzberichterstattung. Er ist Autor mehrerer Bücher und zahlreicher Aufsätze in internationalen Fachzeitschriften zu Fragen der Rechnungslegung.
