The Moment Christmas Magic is Stolen, the Legend of Santa Claus Changes Forever. When the elves vanish and the world's Christmas magic begins to fade, Santa Claus faces a truth even he never imagined. Someone has stolen the power that keeps joy alive. In this Santa Claus fantasy adventure, the jolly gift-giver is reimagined as a brave hero caught between two realms: the natural world and the magical place, where Christmas was born. A sinister council of sorcerers has declared war on wonder itself. Their leader, Mortimer, believes that magic belongs only to those who control it. When he seizes the source of Santa's power, the entire holiday world begins to crumble. Elves vanish, reindeer falter, and even Mrs. Kringle's enchanted cookies can't hold off the growing darkness. But Santa isn't ready to surrender. With his loyal toymaker Oskar and his fearless wife Elizabeth, he journeys to the heart of the Infernal Mountain to reclaim the stolen Christmas Magic and restore balance to both realms. Along the way, he'll confront Krampus, the ancient demon of punishment, in a clash that will decide not just the fate of one child, but the destiny of Christmas itself. From the icy skies over the North Pole to the fiery depths of forgotten worlds, Kris Kringle and the Great Magic Swindle delivers a breathtaking combination of holiday fantasy and high-stakes adventure. Perfect for fans of Santa Claus tales and elves and reindeer adventures filled with humor, warmth, and cinematic imagination. When faith weakens and magic fades, only one man can save the season. Believe again in the power of wonder.
My name is Michael Wardner. I live just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, in a very small hippy town called Pine Lake. I grew up in southern California and went to undergrad at UC Berkeley, studying English Literature-- with a year abroad at the University of Birmingham in England. I have a Master's Degree in Film Production from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, and work in video post-production in Atlanta. I love to draw and write stories. I have self-published two novels (The Boy Who Went Boom and The Girl from the Gamma Zone) and a graphic novel (Crumble). I have won recognition for my cartoons from the SF Weekly and for my short story writing from Creative Loafing Atlanta. I love to do improv comedy and hang out with my wife, two kids, and cat (I'm not sure the cat enjoys it as much as I do.)
