This study focuses on Lagoa Maior, a lentic environment of great recreational, scenic, and social significance for the municipality of Três Lagoas/MS - Brazil. The limnological environment in which Lagoa Maior is located has been progressively suffering from anthropogenic changes. To verify the degree of damage that this occupation is causing, technical, physical, and chemical analyses were carried out at the site. Geographer. Master's degree in Geography (2013-2015) from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul Foundation (UFMS), with a research focus on Environmental Dynamics and Planning. Currently pursuing a PhD (2016-2019) in Geosciences at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP).
