Epilepsy is a common chronic neurological disorder characterized by recurrent unprovoked seizures. While traditional anticonvulsant drugs are primarily antimanics, lamotrigine is the most effective drug in the treatment and prophylaxis of bipolar depression. The author is assistant Professor of SSIPS, Bhilai, India. She has a good number of publications in international and nationaljournals of repute. She is member of American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS). Her area of research extends from nanoparticle, ocular drug delivery, NDDS.
