"Lancashire Folktales: A Storied Landscape" is a collection of folktales re-imagined by Lancashire based storyteller and writer Jacqueline Harris, with detailed notes and sources, an introductory essay on the nature of folktale transmission and ten illustrative lino-cut plates by the dutch artist Marjan Wouda, who has made Lancashire her home for the past twenty five years. These tales are rooted in the Lancashire landscape, reflecting its geology, geography, diversity and the lives lived there.
