The failure to address pre-colonial land holding rights has triggered inter-ethnic land conflicts in post-colonial Africa. Ethnic groups still re-group along ethnic identities against historical injustices that dispossessed them pre-colonial land holding rights. Land Dimension in Bukusu-Sabaot Inter-Ethnic Conflicts in Mount Elgon Area Since 1963 reconstructs an ethnic land tussle in the post-colonial dispensation.
