Opposites attract and worlds collide when the hidden charms of a wealthy man threaten to crumble the carefully crafted walls around a young working woman's heart. As an event planner about to launch her company full-time, Ellie Connor is laser-focused on her career. Her younger sister is hopelessly devoted to romance and in love-at-first-sight with a cute girl in a local band. Impossibly, the band's lead singer is none other than Peter Williams, a philanthropic billionaire who had once rejected Ellie's business proposal. Ellie loves her sister, hates Peter, and doesn't have time for nonsense. Like Ellie, Peter is a working professional whose life is complex and rich with family. Those ties-that-bind soon find the couple inextricably linked in business and pleasure-a surprisingly hot amount of pleasure. Will Ellie's prejudice against the impossibly rich and rigorously inflexible Peter outweigh her ambitions and sisterly devotion or will these two work their way into a meeting of the minds and hearts?

Heather Denton is a part-time novelist and full-time Texan with a Jane Austen sensibility in the style of Octavia Butler, who writes to make people laugh and fall in love. Before she turned her pen to novels, she wrote a dozen feature-length screenplays in a variety of genres. She earned a B.A. in English Literature with a minor in film and then tried to ignore the siren call of creating by earning an M.S. in Higher Education. Heather is happiest reading, writing, cooking, befriending every dog she meets, and spending time with friends and family. She also produces and co-hosts a podcast with her sister called I Love You But.
