SJ is a writer of dark, literary psychological thrillers, and a fun-lover! Her career has taken her far and wide, as documentary-maker in China in the nineties, and into digital innovation and communication for more than twenty-five years. She is now global head of Public Affairs for a major multinational focusing on people and planet advocacy, including climate, human rights, and responsible AI. Originally from London, she's lived in six countries - Hong Kong, China, India, Netherlands, Spain and now Sweden. As a daughter, wife and mother, her books unpack complex family relations, multigenerational trauma, and weave in modern dilemmas, innovation and technology, and the power of exploiting inequality. SJ has two teens, a husband from Northern Ireland, and an Indian street-cat on Prozac. In her free time (um....is there any of that?) she reads avidly and is trying to learn to garden...
