Derek Invo Buo wurde vor etwa 26 Jahren als Sohn von Christopher Wallang Buo und Catherine Buo geboren. Er hat einen Abschluss in Rechtswissenschaften und ist derzeit Anwalt am Obersten Gerichtshof von Kamerun. In den letzten 6 Jahren war er als Gymnasiallehrer tätig. Derek hat auch Bücher und viele Artikel veröffentlicht. Bis heute ist er Lehrer und Anwalt.
