Hi, I'm Linda Lou, and I'm learning how to really listen! Sometimes my brain flies off with the birds outside, and I miss what people are saying. But my grandma taught me about deep listening - looking into someone's eyes, feeling what they feel, and paying close attention. When I tried it, something magical happened! I started having more fun in class and felt closer to people. Listening - with your heart can make you a great friend - and a great leader, too! Meet Linda Lou - a spirited, thoughtful girl who discovers that leadership isn't about being the loudest or the bossiest, but about listening, helping, including others, and staying true to herself. In this 10-book series, Linda Lou navigates everyday moments at school, at home, and in her community, each time uncovering a new way she can lead with heart. Whether she's practicing deep listening, making new friends, facing challenges, or creating connection, Linda Lou shows young readers that leadership lives in kindness, courage, and creativity - and that anyone can be a leader, starting with the small choices we make each day.
