Rapid globalization and emerging technologies are significantly impacting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the manufacturing sector. These enterprises face intense competition and increasing pressure to meet the demands of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), who expect consistent quality and higher production rates. To adapt, MSMEs must address customer needs and adopt quality improvement tools such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. The primary objective of this study is to develop a Lean Practice Model tailored for Indian MSMEs engaged in exports. It identifies the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) for implementing Lean manufacturing and evaluates performance through both primary and secondary data. The study further defines these factors and operational standards in collaboration with industry stakeholders. The developed Lean Practice Model aims to strengthen MSMEs' contribution to India's GDP by enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, lowering costs, and improving quality and customer satisfaction.
