Dr. Tom Williams, an evangelist for over 50 years, has been best known to so many as a man of prayer. Through the death of his first wife followed by their baby girl, through the trial that bacterial meningitis brought to his second wife for 28.5 years before being called home to heaven, as well as through countless other trials, God has taught Dr. Williams the significance of having a prayer life and not just a prayer time Throughout the Bible, the Lord constantly stresses this. The Lord Jesus said in Luke 18:1, "That men ought always to pray." The Apostle Paul exhorted us in Philippians 4:6 to "Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." The Bible also teaches us that Prayer has a twin sister named, Faith. The Lord Jesus said to the man in Mark 9:23, "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth," and in Mark 11:24, "What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
