Autorenporträt
Hans Martin Krämer, Ph.D. (2005), Ruhr University Bochum, is Professor of Japanese Studies at Heidelberg University. He specializes in modern Japanese history and has recently published the co-edited volumes Buddhism and Modernity (Hawai'i UP, 2021) and Theosophy Across Boundaries (SUNY Press, 2020). Stephan Kigensan Licha, Ph.D. (2012), SOAS, is Assistant Professor of Japanese Buddhism at the University of Chicago. He specializes in the history of Japanese Buddhism and recently published the monograph Esoteric Zen: Zen and the Tantric Teachings in Premodern Japan (Brill, 2023).
