DJ Slater is a Milwaukee native with a love for sharing stories. He wrote his first story in third grade and hasn't stopped since. His passion for the craft took him on an appropriate career path-journalism, magazines and marketing. He has a BA in journalism and history from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. You can find his byline in the archives of several Wisconsin newspapers and trade magazines. When not writing, DJ loves acting, singing, movies, the little moments, his family, friends and (not surprisingly) horror. "Legend Has It" is his first novel.
