The war for Talkar is over. The Wolford family is finally reunited, but for the past six years they've had to reside within the land of the reptiles for their safety. However, as Taylor Renee's family slowly drifts apart, dark forces are colluding together and rumblings of a new war are spreading. After Script forces Taylor's paw, ambitions are reignited as she flees Talkar with what's left of her family. Against all sound common sense, she runs headlong into the very country that hates her the most, just as a former friend has launched terrorist attacks upon it that has sparked a gathering of powers that will push both Script and prophecy to their breaking points, heralding a new malevolent entity that was foretold.
Matthew Colvath was born in California, USA, where he grew up in the 'golden age' of gaming when Nintendo and Sony were having their 1980s feud and movies had a more simple and light-hearted fantastical flair to them. Movies and games captured his attention and drove him to pursue game design to tell stories and express his creativity. His interest in game design petered off, but his passion for storytelling did not.Graduating in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in Communications from CSUS in Sacramento, Matthew faltered in direction in his life and after a year of aimless ambition decided to join the US Air Force. He was with the USAF for nearly 11 years and went through two deployments with the B-52 bombers up in Minot, North Dakota.Through these years, he was honing his writing craft through fanfic. Being a self-taught author, he cut his teeth first on these low risk writing projects before tackling his first professional work with Legend of Ahya: Target of Interest. Now having separated from the military and picking up a career in IT (Information Technology), he currently resides in Germany with his wife and two boys where he continues to write the rest of Taylor's saga.
