Lenny Ackerman was born and raised in Rochester, New York. He is a practicing attorney and divides his time between Palm Beach, Florida; East Hampton, New York; and Danforth, Maine. He writes a regular column for The Mountain Messenger newspaper and is the author of Here Back East; Fishing the Morning; and Fishing to Home Waters.
