Elizabeth Joyce, PhD, is associate professor of microbiology and immunology, and course director of the Dental Microbiology Program at UCSF School of Medicine, University of California-San Francisco. Manjiree Vikas Karandikar, MD, is a pediatric infectious disease specialist who cares for children. She is a member of the UCSF program for immunocompromised patients with infectious diseases. Mehrdad Matloubian, MD, is a rheumatologist at UCSF who specializes in treating inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Alberto Rubio, MD, is an infectious disease specialist at UCSF who provides primary care for patients living with HIV and AIDS.
