Autorenporträt
Cindy Stewart worked in the school system and volunteered with children for many years and is a graduate of the Institute of Children's Literature. Lewy and the Visitors from Planet Acceptance is the second book Cindy Stewart has written about Lewy and Cheezy. The first book, Lewy Kablooey and Sneezy Cheezy, was also published with Friesen Press. Lewy is based on Cindy's late husband, Lewis, who had a knack for mechanics and was bullied as a child. Miss Cindy is based on-you guessed it!-the author herself, who has often found herself helping children and rescuing animals. Cindy lives in Dunnville, Ontario with one dog, three cats, three rabbits, and two parrots. Cindy especially loves to spend time with her granddaughters, Madison and Alexis.
