Dieter Unger ist ein langjähriger Branchenkenner. Erfahrungen aus Vertrieb, Planung und Instandhaltung von Aufzugsanlagen gewann er bei Herstellern sowie als Leiter des Technikcenters für Fördertechnik bei DB Services GmbH. Seit 2015 ist er beim VDMA beschäftigt. In dieser Funktion wirkt er u. a. bei der Erstellung nationaler und internationaler Normen und Richtlinien im Bereich der Fördertechnik mit.
