As a child I used to tell my mother that I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. I started writing stories in primary school, and joined a book project in sixth grade. As a teenager I used to express my discontent with my mother's decisions, by writing mean poetry, which still hangs on her pin board to this day. I have been dealing with a lot of health issues most of my life. Due to a genetic mutation called FMF, I have been dealing with fevers, fatigue and many other symptoms, but long covid took away even more of my energy, then depression hit. I tried to keep my head up high for as long as possible, staying creative through it all. Now I tell my story to others, to relate, to laugh, or to cry, which has helped me grow and heal at the same time. I wrote my story in English for the ones that were there for me when I couldn't leave my flat. I'm not alone and neither are
