The author, Derek Rodgers, is a writer and podcaster originally from Newport News, Virginia. He is a husband and father of three children. Derek has experience teaching and preaching in correctional institutions and churches. He has also coached youth sports and does volunteer work in the community. He hopes to inspire other men and women to seek God in everything they do. The author has birthed a nonprofit organization in Richmond, Virginia, that will provide mentoring and life coaching to teenagers in search of identity and direction.
