T. Csernis is a speculative fiction novelist whose works explore dark forests, opulent mansions, and morally complex protagonists. His stories centre LGBTQ+ characters, with a particular focus on trans and cis gay leads, and often delve into themes of mental health, living with chronic illness and disabilities, found family, and personal growth. Enemies-to-lovers and slow-burn romance are among his favourite and frequently employed tropes, alongside science-fantasy and gothic romance. All of his novels are set in the same universe, the Numenverse, which continues to grow with at least three new releases each year.
