Professor Jenny Hocking is Research Professor and Australian Research Council Discovery Outstanding Researcher Award (DORA) Fellow in the National Centre for Australian Studies at Monash University. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia and the inaugural Distinguished Whitlam Fellow at the Whitlam Institute at Western Sydney University. Jenny is an award-winning biographer, scholar and political commentator and the author of the acclaimed two-volume biography Gough Whitlam: His Time (2008) and Gough Whitlam: A Moment in History (2012).
