Karen Wickerson has been an animal telepath/psychic/communicator since she was three years old and is a Healing Touch for Animals Certified Practitioner. Listen to Your Animals: They Know More Than You Think is her first book, and most likely won't be her last, although she'd like to think it is because she doesn't consider herself a writer. In fact, she finds it kind of painful. In a previous part of life, she was a Clinical Family Counselor and holds a Master of Arts degree in Applied Behavioral Science. She hung up her counselor's hat to devote her life to giving animals a voice and making a difference in their lives and the lives of their humans. When she's not working with animals and their humans, she works closely with her alma mater, Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, as their Westcoast Trent Chapter Chairperson and serves on their Philanthropic Advisory Committee.She currently lives and plays in North Vancouver, British Columbia with her husband, Drummond, their two cats, Curious and Tenderfoot. She also loves spending time with her three granddaughters while excitedly waiting for her fourth's arrival in the new year.
