This book about abandonment, loss, change, forgiveness and spiritual awakening, is a potent and poignant reminder of the strength of the human psyche and the power of choice. In an intimate, redemptive tale and affecting account of transcending developmental physical neglect in her infancy, followed by subsequent psychological and emotional trauma during her early childhood, author Dawn Nelson leads us through her heartbreaking early years before revealing to readers how gratitude, forgiveness, and a genuine spirituality can help guide us to a whole and healthy life. Little Girl Found offers hope, support and compassion to the multitudes of human beings who have suffered troubled or traumatic childhoods, and shows us all that it is never too late to blossom into our true selves.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Dawn Nelson spent the first few years of her life in Kentucky, grew up in Kansas, and graduated from colleges in Nebraska and Texas before landing in California in 1968. Her journey took her from minister's wife and mother to graduate school to professional actress to massage practitioner to meditation teacher and residential retreat leader. Completing a two-year certification course in "Awakening to Life and Death" in 1990 inspired Dawn to create the COMPASSIONATE TOUCH for Those in Later Life StagesTM program (www.fromtheheart-hands.com). Now semi-retired, Dawn lives with her husband in the California Bay Area where she continues to write, deepen her meditative practices, and spend time, as often as possible, with her three adult children, four grandchildren, and three grand-dogs.
