Steve Doherty is a veteran U.S. Air Force officer and aviator whose firsthand experience of military operations, strategy, and global stakes gives his fiction an uncommon authenticity. During his service, he earned a master's degree from Chapman University, grounding his creative work in rigorous discipline and research-driven narrative. Outside his writing, Steve is a 6th Dan black belt in Taekwondo, reflecting his lifelong commitment to precision, perseverance, and the warrior mindset that he channels into his thrillers.He is the author of five historical-fiction thrillers that draw on his military insight, international awareness, and deep understanding of covert operations. Parallel to his adult fiction, Steve has co-authored six children's picture books, demonstrating his versatility and ability to write for different audiences while adapting his storytelling craft to both action-packed and child-friendly formats.
