Sylvanus Davies is also the author of A Trail to Prosperity: The Journey of One from Escaping Autocracy, Poverty, and Despair to the Land of Opportunity. His interest in cataloguing the experiences of Africans in the postcolonial era through fiction is his passion. He also collaborates with select ministries in Sierra Leone such as, Christian Community Deliverance Ministry (CCDM) to offer academic scholarships, repair school buildings, and maintain water wells in elementary and secondary schools. Sylvanus previously worked as a cost analyst in the private sector and federal government for thirty-six years. Now retired, he enjoys writing out of Virginia, where he lives.
