Hamish Trumble has laboured in the second-hand book mines for 45 years as mrbooksywooksy, snatching quality literature from the jaws of landfill. During that time he has performed in fringe comedy cabaret, country music bands and circus poetry troupes. Lately he has followed his children into amateur musical theatre with the Wonthaggi Theatrical Group, most recently appearing as Lurch in The Addams Family. He lives and works in Kongwak, South Gippsland, the Valley of Peace.
