Autorenporträt
Alvin Pittman currently serves as Youth Pastor for Gateway Baptist Church in Lumberton, MS. He is a husband, father, son, brother, and most importantly, a child of God. He was called to the ministry in 2009, but his battle with PTSD-stemming from his military service-delayed his full acceptance of the call. Alvin served his country and state for 22 years in the Mississippi Army National Guard and has worked in law enforcement for 13 years. His heart to serve is evident in every area of his life. On August 14th 2022, Alvin heard for God again, but this time he accepted his calling into ministry and was ordained to preach the following year. Writing was never something he imagined he would pursue, but his desire to please God has opened him to the purpose for which he was created.
