This book of poetry consists of my thoughts about my life as a mortgage banker, street minister, and shelter provider. It is a collection of miscellaneous ideas regarding my values. Some of the poems are about loneliness: my own loneliness and the loneliness of those I met through my work on the streets of Chicago. Some are about love: my love for my wife, my family and those with whom I work. All the poems are about relationships. Some poems are about the homeless: youth I met on the street or in youth shelters, older men and women looking for a kind person to just sit and listen. Some are about my parents and how, as they grew old, they still had the hope of love.
