Lora Ley is a half nixie, half human, who discovers her Nyx side in Book One - Secrets of the Nyx. In Book Two of the series, Lora and her friends travel back to the era of Germanic legend, dragons and heroes on a quest to save the Nibelung treasure and solve a devious mystery. Meanwhile, a camp of Romans and Attila the Hun (Etzel) prepare to invade the Burgundian stronghold. Lora, Wolf, the unfortunate circus owner, his gnomish assistant, romantic warrior dwarf Caspar, the two beautiful brook horses, along with Krogg and Ratzel, are all caught in the fray. Will they find the treasure, solve the mystery and make it back home all in one piece?
