Meera Uberoi (1952-2012) was a much-loved children's writer. Her other books include Indian Folktales and The Puffin Book of Classic Indian Tales for Children. Meera Uberoi wrote many storybooks for children, retelling fairy tales, myths, legends and other stories of bygone eras. Some of her publications include Stories from Mahabharata, Indian Folk Tales, Penguin Book of Gardening in India, Puffin Book of Classic Indian Tales for Children, and Leadership Secrets from the Mahabharata.
