JULIO VERA GARCÍA, nacido en Sevilla y gran enamorado de su ciudad, se formó en el Colegio Salesiano de San Pedro en Triana, donde, tras sus estudios universitarios, ha venido desarrollando también su labor educativa, docente y directiva. Tras concluir su licenciatura en Ciencias Físicas y otras titulaciones vinculadas con la informática, comenzó su ámbito profesional en la enseñanza, aunque no tardó en completar sus estudios superiores en Realización de Cine, Televisión y Espectáculos, para así poder compatibilizar dos de sus grandes pasiones. Su inquietud por el mundo audiovisual le ha llevado a escribir y dirigir varios cortometrajes solidarios y sociales, como La Ley Snell, así como espectáculos musicales, videoclips de diversos artistas y documentales, como Luz y embrujo, sobre Luis Ortega Bru, destacando también la webserie 18.0, con gran aceptación por parte del público y que le supuso una mención especial dentro de los premios andaluces Asecan. Hombre de familia, inculca a sus dos hijos el amor por su ciudad, al igual que sus padres hicieron con él desde pequeño, y desarrolla un minucioso trabajo de creatividad, profundización y documentación, con gran exigencia personal, en cada una de sus obras y proyectos. En 2024, fue reconocido por el Ayuntamiento de Sevilla como Trianero del Año por contribuir a la difusión cultural e histórica de su ciudad, entre otros méritos. Tras el éxito de La congregación de la Granada (Almuzara, 2022), donde nos sumergió en un fascinante mundo de aventuras en el que el misticismo y el arte se veían destinados a converger, el autor nos invita nuevamente a adentrarnos en sus enigmas con Los secretos de la Serenísima.
