Branko Van Der Geest has been flying for a major Canadian airline for over 30 years. Previously he had experience in the hospitality industry, working in hotels and restaurants. He expanded his interest in aviation by going to commercial flight training. He also became a paramedic and presently practices both careers. Being widely regarded by colleagues as a magnet for unusual incidents, he decided to share some experiences in print. He currently lives in Squamish, British Columbia.
