Gordon Bunce's first book, Lucas in Birmingham, was a social history of one of Birmingham's largest employers until its closure in 1989. He has compiled a second - using new material (pictures and anecdotes) submitted by his readers. It covers not just the plants in the Midlands but factories in the rest of the UK and overseas.
