Sallie Stabler Parks lives in Montgomery, Alabama although she grew up in Wilcox County. Mrs. Parks is a retired teacher, who continues to promote literacy in education During her tenure she received multiple Teacher of the Year Awards. Mrs. Parks currently teaches Sunday School/Life Group classes. She is married and has two adult children. When she is not writing children's books, devotionals, or teaching part-time, she spends quality time with family and friends.
