LO2 is an interior design studio founded in 2004 that covers architectural projects (private residential, corporate and hospitality), interior design and landscape architecture -the latter through Locus Landscape Architecture-, both in Spain and abroad. Luisa Olazábal and Luis Ojeda, as well as their partners, have formed a multidisciplinary team that approaches projects with a holistic approach and fits them optimally into the environment in which they are located. They have also created a multidisciplinary team that approaches projects with a holistic approach and fits them optimally into the environment in which they are located, as can be seen in the exquisite selection published in this book.
Luisa Olazábal founded the studio in 2004. Formed in a family of architects and interior designers, and with a great spatial and creative sensibility, Luisa has been living since she was a child a profession that she made her own naturally. Intuitive and passionate, she turns her strong personality into the driving force behind her projects. Luis Ojeda joins the studio, as Luisa's partner, 10 years later, bringing a complementary trajectory and personality. Luis develops his professional career in the financial world, while he lives and follows with passion the world of art, architecture and landscaping. In 2018, Olazábal and Ojeda, together with Gonzalo Morillo, also created the landscape architecture studio Locus Landscape Architecture. This contrast between classic and modern, between a centuries-old building and avant-garde architecture, perfectly defines the style of LO2 Studio. Marta Bermejo, author of the photographs that illustrate this coffee table book, currently lives between Madrid and London, and holds a degree in interior architecture from the Istituto Europeo di Design. While working as an interior designer in Spain and Italy, she continues with her passion for photography and, after two exhibitions in Milan and Madrid, she leaves her career as an interior architect and starts working as a product photographer for different companies. She specializes in three disciplines: architecture, art and nature. It is in the perspectives and geometry where she moves with more authority, printing in each of them her character. Her work is a tribute to shadow and contrast, with elegant framing that seeks detail.
