In the detention cell where he's been forgotten, Luke Kainoa Bishop feels like his life is over. His father is violent, his mother is struggling, and anger has become the only thing that makes sense. But when golden letters appear on the wall spelling "Providence favors undertakings," something inside Luke shifts. Moments later, light bursts from the darkness, revealing Providian - a celestial figure who tells Luke that the battle for good and evil isn't fought with weapons, but with belief. Every act of courage, forgiveness, and love strengthens the light. Every moment of hate and fear feeds the shadows. And the world's fate depends on which side wins the hearts of its people. Luke learns that he was chosen - not because he's perfect, but because he's broken in all the right places. Trained by Providian, tempted by the cunning Leezhun, and hunted by Providian's dark twin Delirion, Luke must decide who he is and what he stands for. In a story that blends Hawaiian heritage, faith, and celestial fantasy, Writings on the Wall begins Luke's journey from lost boy to warrior of light. It's a powerful reminder that redemption is real, forgiveness is strength, and the first miracle happens when we choose to see the good still left in ourselves.
