Autorenporträt
Linda Rigby is an SOS-Trained Feeding Therapist, Early Childhood Teacher and Naturopath with a background in child development, sensory learning and responsive feeding. Linda delights in writing children's picture books with health and well-being themes, featuring a generous dose of fun. Linda's writing combines her Feeding Therapy and educational knowledge with her love for picture books that capture children's interests while promoting good health and wellbeing. The insights Linda has gained through her work with families and young children are evident in her writing, with each book tailored to the children's interests. Children are drawn to the story by following their natural interests, and the health or nutritional learning is cleverly embedded within the pages. While it's all just good fun as far as children are concerned, the stories are highly educational, and families and teachers can be assured the learning is firmly grounded in evidence-based practices. Complementary health and well-being tips are included at the end of every story.
