Kelly Curtis is a pediatric nurse with a passion for helping children and families feel comforted and understood during times of illness. Inspired by her work at a children's hospital, she writes stories that empower kids to know their bodies are strong and that getting sick is never their fault. Macy the Monkey Battles a Bug is her debut children's book, created to bring reassurance, smiles, and hope to young readers and their families. Kelly is currently pursuing her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner to expand her role as a healthcare provider and continue supporting patients in new ways. When she isn't caring for patients or writing, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, traveling, and creating projects for her Etsy Shop.
