Autorenporträt
Dana Sutton is a mother, grandmother, children's author, and business consultant from Kelowna, BC. While she has written on and off her whole life, You Can Do Hard Things, her 2024 children's book, was her first time being published. The book received very positive reviews, including from the Kirkus Review of Books. Dana has helped raise many children including biological, step, fostered and adopted, as well as tutored and coached kids of all ages. Maddie Finds Her Place is her second book and is based on her experience with her daughter, Maddie, who initially moved in with Dana out of a youth homeless shelter. Dana lives in Kelowna with her husband, Ray, and their two Old English Sheepdogs, Guinness and Misty. When she isn't writing or working, she enjoys reading, swimming, walking her dogs, playing with her grandchildren, and going on motorcycle trips-long and short-with her husband.
